Pleasesee my feedback. I have sold fossil amber for over 10 years on eBay and sellonly authentic fossil amber, not fake or plastic. This piece is genuine amberformed over millions of years of polymerization.This fully polished specimen of all-natural authentic Dominican amber from the mines in the Dominican Republic contains a very rare, ancient winged seed. This seed was most likely from a now extinct plant that was probably flying through the air when it got stuck in sticky tree... resin that fossilized into amber over time. What if one day scientists could determine how to make it germinate again?With the seed is an ancient water bubble or enhydro with a moving air bubble that is right next to the mouth of a Phorid fly. There is also a second Phorid fly in this piece.Enhydros are water bubbles that contain trapped air bubbles that can be seen moving as the piece is turned.Geological studies have dated the water in these enhydros to be between 17 and 20 million years old!
The piece itself weighs 3.2 grams and has approximate dimensions of 2.6 cm length, 2.1 cm width, and 0.7 cm height. NOTE: 2.5 cm is approximately 1 inch.
