Offered here without reserve from my personal collection is a good hand thrown glazed blue and white stoneware ovoid water cooler, mid-late 19th century. A nice light beige stoneware body with a 4" band of blue and white sponge decorated around the rim.
height 12 3/4in; widest diameter 13in; diameter at base 10 1/4in
In excellent condition, my only apology is a small chip to the left spigot hole at foot, measuring approximately 1" x 1" (as pictured). Typical surface wear associat...ed with age and use.
