Very scarce pre-fair publication issued in Nov 1936 by New York Worlds Fair 1939 Inc. Number 2 the Theme Edition of the 1939 World's Fair Bulletin in mint condition and with its original mailing envelope. This being Paul MacAlister's copy. MacAlister, (1901-1990) former President of the Industrial Design Institute, was a designer at the 1939 NY World's Fair. The book is 12.25" by 9.25", 16 pages in stiff card covers, and features early artist's conceptions of what the Fair would... look like. This issue predates the unveiling of the Trilon & Perisphere in 1937 so the main symbol of the Fair is not included here. Great look at the early conception for the themes and appearance of the Fair and in like new condition.
