This little machine is a pretty neat little invention from the early 1900's that can be used today in the age of waste and recycling. No staples needed. It makes a triangular hole in the papers to clip together and takes the tab neatly folds it into another made hole. See my example. I used two sheets of paper and went up to four sheets that can be clipped... together. Was invented in the early 1900's. This was made for the desktop. Plate reads, "Clipless Stand Machine Manufacture and Sold by Clipless Paper Fastener Co. Patent Pending". Has a felted bottom that shows wear and holes. The spring is not perfect but the machine still works. Metal is pitted and worn and minor rusting. See photos. Measures 2 1/4" wide by 5 1/4" x 5 1/2" H. A must have for people who love journaling and playing with paper! A few guidelines when considering this item: I am happy to combine shipping whenever possible.
