This is for a vintage D.R. Barton straight wood carving gouge with a No. 5 sweep and an edge width of approximately 7/8" from a local estate. The handle is marked "The Wellman Prod. Co., Cleveland, O." which from looking online was a local tool distributor for Pattern Maker's supplies. I took a lot of pictures so you could see it's condition, markings, and size so please look at them closely. It has wear from use, staining/spotting from storage, a name is etched on the side by the tan...g, a name is also etched on the ferrule, the mark was struck only partially, and it could use a sharpening, but overall it's in good usable condition with the handle tight.
