Original Description:
This plane is 9 1/2" long and is 1 3/4" wide. It is signed M. Copeland Warranted. The signature is hard to read but I assure you that it's there. Pollak's guide indicates that this plane was manufactured by Melvin Copeland between1831 and 1842 in Hartford Ct. It's in very good condition and the 2 cross-grain nickers have survived the years.
