This Campbell Scale Model is of a bunkhouse that would typically be found in a lumbering or mining camp in the late 19th century. It is equipped with skids so that it could be transported from site to site on a flatcar by the railroad that was constructed to haul cut logs to the mill. The model is madewith HO scale lumber and components. Craftsman models are kits that aretypically cut, assembled and finished by the purchaser as he/she desires(hopefully); thus, it is likely ...that each will be unique. Most take manyhours to complete and the satisfaction comes from the uniqueness as well as therealistic appearance and detail not usually found in molded plastic. This model is small and less complex than most; I estimate it required about 10-12 hours to complete. I wouldrate this item C-7 to C-8. I also have the OEM package and will include when shipping. This item continues to be available from Campbell and retails from $15-18, unassembled.
