Nice Vintage Disston No. 7 Hand Saw—28” Blade—7 TPI—Straight—1896-1917—This hand saw is one of about 50 that I will be listing that came from the collection of a retiring/downsizing woodworker. The majority of the saws appear to have been cleaned up/semi restored by him at some point in time.—fair overall condition—blade is straight with no real issues, but may need some fine tuning to be 100%—blade is fairly clean, but does have some spots of light pitting scattered ...throughout, more on the back of the blade than the front—handle looks to be in good shape—there is a repair under the bottom saw nut on the front of the handle—otherwise handle only has some relatively minor nicks/dents/gouges —blade etching is not visible & is most likely lost/worn away —28” blade is approximately 7 3/8” wide at the heel—2 5/8”wide at the toe—approx. 32 3/4” overall length—7 TPI—medallion dates between 1896 & 1917A nice vintage Disston No. 7 hand saw that would make a welcome addition to any collection.
