Original Description:
Here is a nice old skew rabbet plane marked I HAMMOND NEW HAVEN.  The plane is a wide 2" size which would be good for a timber framer cleaning up tenons or other large scale work.  This plane has nice looking grain that will really pop with a little oil finish. Measures 9 1/2" long.The plane is in original as found condition and needs to be restored for use. It appears to be complete and should tune up without major work and become a good tool in the shop.
A top quality to...ol by a known maker ready to be restored for use.

I know a little about a lot of tools but I am not an expert on anything so if there is a tool or item you are interested in and know a certain part is always missing/cracked/damaged than please inquire and I will check it out. It is only logical right?
