Antique 19thc 1800 ' S Early Primitive Loom Woven Indigo Blue & Cream Coverlet

Very hard to part with this stunning early jacquard type early loomed woven coverlet. What a lovely pattern on this piece. You don't see these wonderful intricate florals often. Large floral type medallions done in 2 sections seamed together, so beautifully done make up this overall design. The color is a very rich indigo blue and cream/off white and has a red trim on the upper portion. Overall it is a fabulous piece, heavy and dense. I imagine, wool & linen as many wer...e. I am calling it more primitive as it is an early wool; I doubt this has ever been laundered so will have some tea toned aging. Most is very light and not detracting. The heaviest I have shown in photo #6, 7 and the very last photo. In person, it is a "fine" piece and would grace any early setting perfectly. Simply phenomenal work of it's period. Circa mid 1800's or before.
Condition again is very good overall, strong etc..Has a wonderful overall good look, probably not "pristine" as it is very very old & wool though very very nice. Again, there are both the pale harder to see tea toning and the deeper ones I have mentioned and photo'd. There is some wear to the red band when you looking closely. The fringe appears overall good for it's age with some aging as expected. Being wool there will be some random thread loss/breaking of the fibers inherent of early woolens and some loosening of the center sewn threads that hold the 2 long panels together. Overall, it is a wonderful piece in my opinion, more primitive in nature though wonderful & displays beautifully.
