Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:3224971 | Country/Region of Manufacture: United States |
Here is a picture CD containing over 385 original images of vintage fire appliances / apparatus built on the pioneering ALF 700 Series and subsequent 800 Series chassis by American LaFrance of Elmira NY. Taken mostly during the second half of the 20th Century, they include engines, tractor-drawn and straight-frame ladders, rescue squads, and special units in closed and open-cabbed styles with the majority of the rigs being from the states of Maryland, Delaware, New J...ersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Included are 15 full-sized ALF factory delivery photos of various 700 Series rigs. All photos have been restored to their original brilliance, clarity, and colour. See the listing pictures for a dozen typical examples (the photos on the disc will look nicer than these low-res copies). Basic informational details are contained within each photo's file-name.
NOTE: This is entirely a home-produced product with no label artwork, CD case, insert, fancy graphics, or captions appearing with the images - just a basic, plain disc in a white paper sleeve with a large selection of some interesting photos of fire engines built on what can arguably be described as ALF's most famous chassis of the postwar decades. Your CD will be shipped as soon as payment is received or the next business day, depending upon whether or not the postman's been 'round yet.
Cheers!
