Up for sale we have this vintage, circa 1950s, brain teaser type small metal puzzle called The Double Cross, manufactured by the General Engineering & Design Company, Product Engineers, of Detroit, Michigan. It was probably produced as a promotional item for the company. It consists of 6 metal pieces that interlock to make a cross. The pieces measure about 2 1/4 inches long and about 3/8 inch square. The metal is not steel, since a magnet doesn't stick to it, so it is some sort of sil...ver colored metal, possibly chrome or aluminum. The box is in good condition and is missing one flap.
