Rare Vintage 1964 John F. Kennedy (JFK) head bust statue by Leo Cherne.Measures about 7-5/8” tall and is heavy.The base appears to be a solid piece of marble but I am not sure. It is definitely NOT wood. It has a felt protective bottom.There is a lot of information about Leo Cherne on the internet. He was an accomplished sculptor, Economist, and advisor to past Presidents.The condition is remarkable considering it is about 55 years old. I see no chips, cracks, or scuffs on it.
