Vintage 1960s era Rain Gauge & Recorder.
Advertising giveaway from the 1940s - 1970s. Based upon the five digit phone number listed for Humburg Hardware, Inc. in Hays, Kansas, I'm guessing this is from the late 1960s.
Great subject matter with the bright red "Coleman" logo. I believe this might be the most pristine example that exists! It was never out in the weather, never attached to a fence post. It still has the original paper instructi...ons, check all other auctions for this style of gauge and you will only find the paper about 1% of the time. Just a couple minor scratches that are clearly shown in the photographs.
