for auction a Stanley # 2 Plane fro parts or maybe restoration. It is a recent find and partially cleaned. It is as found with out the lever cap and hold down screw. ( see pictures) The plane has a Large crack in the right cheek. ( see pictures 9 & 10). The blade has the 1892 patent applied for on it. The blade is good and the chip breaker as well, but both will need a cleaning. The frog is good, has the early patent dates on the lateral adjuster. The body has The S casting, to dat...e the plane just before 1900. The handle has a large chuck missing, and a crack on the right side. ( see pictures) The knob is good. The hardware for the knob and handle are good as well. Please see pictures for condition. Ask questions before you bid.
