In 1956 Kellogg's cereal offered a series of 10 different "Wild Animals" in flat gray in boxes of Sugar Pops that were Lido molds. These are well known among collectors. But in 1971 Kellogg's created a new set of plastic animal premiums that resembled the Lido figures but are unique and were marketed as "Zoo Animals" in Coco Krispies and Puffa Puffa Rice also in a set of 10 different figures. Please NOTE: That his lot only includes a complete set of the 1971 Zoo... Animal figures. The other figures shown in the photographs are Lido figures from the earlier 1956 series for comparison only in illustrating the differences as is the color ad. In this set are the same ten types of animals: Elephant, Rhino, Hippo, Gorilla, Giraffe, Lion, Moose, Bear, Bison, and Camel. All are in very good condition with minor wear and no damage.
