1956 Matchbox LESNEY Regular #17 REMOVALS VAN (no number cast); Light Blue, Code 2 or 3, Rocket from World to moon, Gray Wheels
This is a very good to excellent #17-A (No#) Matchbox Bedford Removals Van with a light body, no windows, no interior and made in England with gray metal wheels on crimped axles. I think it is a code 2 or more so 3 as I cannot identify the decals that was placed on it probably in the early 60's. It depicts the world globe with a red line a rocket follows to... the sun or moon and also the letters U.S.A. on the front right fender. Or, a furniture transport trucking company? Definitely-- ONE OF A KIND
