Vintage 1939 New York World's Fair Souvenir Round Globe Glass Bank
Fabulous Vintage 1939 New York World's Fair glass globe bank. Designed and produced exclusively for guests of the NY fair as a souvenir. The piece is heavy and entirely made of glass. The bank is a glass globe with a raised pressed-relief front and back. The front highlights the "New York World's Fair 1939" and the back showcases the famous and iconic Trylon & Perisphere symbol of the fair. The ba...nk has a coin drop slot on the top and a flat base on the bottom for not rolling. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The rim does have a rough edge which could be a flea bite (see last image). All original, all old! I have other NYWF listings this week and next.
