Up for auction is this 1/18 die cast scale model of a 1955 Pontiac Star Chief in black/red made by Sun Star. There is one flaw. The "T" from the "PONTIAC" on the front of the hood has fallen off but I have it. I have attached it to the sticky side of a post-it note in case the new owner wants to try to reattach it. It is 1/16" high. That is the only flaw. Nothing else is broken or missing. There are no other signs of use or wear. The model comes with its original box.
Please n...ote: I received a question from a fellow eBayer who asked if the nose is missing from the hood ornament. The answer is I don't know. I've added a picture of the model shown on my box which does not have a "nose". This matches my car and I never had one. On the other hand, I have seen other models of this exact car by Sun Star that have a "nose". If mine is missing why does the one on the box not have one? Anyway, just putting this out there in the interest of full disclosure.
