You are bidding on an old antique hatchet head. I believe this was used for shingling or roofing shakes. It is marked with Plumb. It weighs a bit, 1 pound 7.6 ounces. It is in great overall condition. It has a patina of age and a hint of surface rust, no pitting. The 3 3/4 inch edge is okay, needs a good sharpening. The eyes are good. The pole is decent, it has two very very small chips that do not impact its use. There is no peenin...g on the pole. The nail puller is like new. Given a good cleaning and a new handle, this will make a great user for a roofer, carpenter, timber framer or a camp axe ax etc.
