Original Description:
Here we have an Antique T. J. M'MASTER & Co. Skewed, Adjustable Moving Filletster Rabbet Molding Plane.  Truman J. McMaster was a plane maker in Auburn, NY from approx. 1825-1839. His mark is on the toe of this plane.  The plane is in Very good operating condition with some scratches and edge wear from use.  There are no cracks (the upper left side has a small knot with tight short age cracks).  It has a good sole and mouth with a Boxwood edge wear str...ip.  There is also a movable fence plate with brass guides and adjustment screws.  It has an adjustable brass depth stop and nicker blade.  The main skewed cutter is in very good condition and is sharp. The cutter wedge is in very good condition.  There is one owner's stamp on the heel. Plane body is 9-1/2" L x 2-1/8" W.
