This listing is for an authentic Wenger Delemont "Champ" Swiss Army Knife.The listing includes the Knife and its tools, the tweezers, and the toothpick only, as seen in the photos. The toothpick looks as if it has been used a little.Although I have had the opportunity to sell a few of these, I am no expert. With that being said, I estimate that this Champ was manufactured in the mid-to-late 1980s based on its stamp and design. The long knife blade is stamped: "Wenger Delemont Swi...tzerland Stainless".The SKA is in excellent working condition. The tools have the proper amount of resistance when opened, and none of them are loose. They are all relatively clean, and appear to be undamaged.Cosmetically, it is in pretty good condition. There is some light scratching/scuffing on the tools from age and use. There is also scuffing/wear on both sides of the handle, but it is seemingly normal wear for a knife that is 30 years old or older. There may be some fingerprints, and there is dust present in the small spaces. Other than that there is no rust, no cracks or breaks to the handle, or any other damage to the Champ.The scratching seen on some of the photos does not
stand out to the human eye. From that angle, the 15 MP camera shows every micro scratch and blemish. The other angles appeared to hide all of the scratching. If you like, some light rubbing with 600 grit sandpaper, and a couple of polishings with Mother's compound, and it can be restored to its former shininess and luster. There are also professionals that provide this service.Other than compressed air, and a soft microfiber cloth, I did not attempt any cleaning, as I often destroy items.
