THIS IS A GORGEOUS GLASS CAMEO VASE. THE TIME TO HAND MAKE THIS HAND BLOWN VASE AND THE AND QUALITY OF THE CUTTING OF THIS PIECE IS OUTSTANDING! THE ARTIST MADE THIS VASE BY GRINDING DOWN THE GLASS OF THE VASE EXCEPT WHERE THE BRANCHES ARE. INSTEAD OF CUTTING THE BRANCHES INTO THE GLASS, THEY CUT THE GLASS OF THE VASE AND LEFT THE RAISED AREAS TO FORM THE BRANCHES! THE COLORI...NG ADDS TO THE BEAUTY OF THE DESIGN. THE COLORING DEPICTS A SUNSET WHERE THE TOP IS DARKENING SKY, WITH LIGHTER SUNSET IN THE LOWER HALF AND THEN CHANGES TO BROWN FOR THE DARKER TREES IN THE BACKGROUND ON THE HORIZON. VASE MEASURES 14-1/2" TALL X 5-1/2" ROUND.
