This gun was made in 1948 so you are looking at a 72 year old toy. This one was part of an experiment by Dinky Toys to increase the American market. They came up with a color which was supposed to duplicate the U.S. Army colors and painted the 151b covered wagon, 153 Jeep, 152a light tank, 152b reconnaissance car and this anti aircraft gun 161b in that color then released them to the U.S. in 1948. It was a failure and quickly stopped. So I guess you can tell that these are ...all very scarce if you are a collector. Note the side by side comparison with the normal green AA gun. Collectors call this color brown even though it’s a variation of olive drab. This gun’s great condition would make it stand on its own for value. I am using all LED lighting which gives more edge and corner reflection and is not flaws. The bright original paint was cleaned with car care products. See photos is a must.
