This listing is for a Schuco Studio 1050 toy metal wind-upcar, estimated to be from the late 1940s or early 1950s. The car has been maintainedin “gently used” condition and all of the parts are original. There is one important problem that you will see in thephotos: a big chunk of the rubber tirefrom the front right side is missing. Also, I do not have the original key (or, for that matter, a substitute to send with thecar either). There is anothe...r way to windthe car, which is to just push down on it. On the underside of this car, there is attractive brandingwith “Schuco” in script, as well as “Studio 1050.” Farther down on theunderside, it is marked "Made in U.S. Zone Germany.” The adjacent areas of the underside contain the U.S.A. patent number and other patent information.
