Vintage Steiff Germany Felt Clothing & Vinyl Head Sandy Sandman Doll - 29 cm tall (11 1/2 inches) - painted features - 1968 to 1974 - raised script ID button & yellow tag - no fading - Very Good Condition

This cute fellow is SANDY SANDMAN DOLL in the 29 cm tall size (11 1/2 inches), EAN #7760/29 dating him to between 1968 to 1974
Sandman Doll is made from Vinyl for his head & bright blue, yellow & red felt for his clothing, grey mohair hair, & gold coated star embellishments & collar (showing some curling). His arms & legs seem to be vinyl (feels hollow) covered with peach felt. A little soiling on his vinyl face/head, no wear to painted features. He holds a red fabric sack. He is in good to very good pre-owned vintage condition no marks on his felt, no fading to the felt, no soiling to clothing - he has his raised script nickel (arm) button & yellow (arm) tag showing his EAN # on a red plastic ring on his wrist. A lovely Steiff collectible doll!
