This listing is for a new piece of Reagan memorabilia. I am having these manufactured (in the U.S.A.) in honor of President Ronald Reagan, his values, common sense and conservative principles. I have chosen a total of 19 different quotes, and will try to keep an inventory of each in my Ebay store. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity and gift box. The Lucite display pieces / paperweights are approximately 3" x 4-3/4" x 1" thick. They are hand sanded and polished, so there may be slight variations. The wood graining will vary in each piece as well.Quote: "If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we are a nation gone under."HISTORY: In 1981 my father's company had the exclusive permission to lay oak parquet flooring for the 1981 Presidential Inaugural Platform. The flooring was then removed and pieces were embedded in Lucite, along with a medallion. It was in a catalog of items available to the public, considered to be of historic significance, to commemorate the 1981 Presidential Inauguration. Some of this wood remained unused, and has been kept in storage by our family. While the original commemorative piece will never be duplicated, I feel the wood should be used to honor President Ronald Reagan.
