French Antique Brass Art Nouveau Floral Wall Scone Pale Pink Flower Shade 1289
This beautiful wall light has a detailed back plate with a lovely rose bud and leaf design and dates from early 1920s.From the back plate comes a swan neck grooved pattern arm leading to a detailed leaf design shade holder.The shade is a pale pink opaque glass floral design with a lip and is held in position with 3 small brass screws.There is a bar on the back of the sconce for hanging, wall fixings not i...ncluded.
The approximate measurements are Height of back plate 24.5 cm Width of back plate 8 cm Maximum Depth 18 cm.The approximate weight is 635g
The light is in great antique condition with age related marks, patina and verdigris.The brass has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on its finish.It is fully working with French twin core wiring and takes a large bayonet bulb.The shade is in overall good condition but does have a couple of small chips which are very hard to see and photograph due to the style of the shade. This is a beautiful single sconce and would add a touch of French elegance to any room setting.
