This is a very large collection of vintage machinist (or woodworking and blacksmithing) metal files. Great varied lot. All vintage USA, German, or SWISS MADE from Simonds, Grobet, Nicholson. These are made from the highest quality Swiss and American tooling steel, hardened throughout the entire thickness of the file, not just the cutting surface as is done on the cheap junk ones made today.
