This is an out of production Ban Dai #0116424-7500 1:1700 scale U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E lighted plastic model kit. The completed model is 16 inches long (41cm) and is pre-painted in amazing detail - it also comes with a lighting kit installed.It was produced in back in 2003 and is a little dusty.
The model looks great, but the black plastic display stand base is damaged and no longer supports the model for more than a couple of minutes.Also, the bottom battery compart...ment cover is missing from the stand and possibly one of the metal battery contacts inside is missing as well.
I am selling the model AS-IS since you can no longer light it or display it properly, although the lights inside should still work fine if you can rewire some power to them. I displayed it unlit on a clear acrylic base for the last decade. I will include the clear stand, which was actually designed for a Diamond Select Enterprise of Enterprise A, but seems to work ok.
