This composition figure of a French lancer was made in the Sonneberg region of Germany in the mid 19th century and was most likely retailed by Giroux of Paris.Height is 150mm and quality is fantastic both in the moulding and in the detailing.Condition is as found so all original but in need of cleaning and there is a fault line on the neck which can just be seen in the pictures. There is also some flaking on the red trousers particularly on the inside leg.This is part of a large collec...tion of similar however all different Sonneberg figures that I bought in Paris 35 or 40 years ago. I will have a few others for sale later.The figure will be double boxed and shipping will be by courier only cost £10 within UK, £18 within EU and £35 to USA.Preferred payment is by bank transfer for UK, EU purchasers.PayPal accepted from US buyers only if bank transfer not possible.
