Original Description:
This is a great piece of folk art wood carving....this small statue comes in 2 pieces...has very intricate carving...I am not sure what she is holding ....possibly flowers...she is standing on a sphere that could be the world...it looks like there is a carved snake on the round part....that is chipped a little. OVERALL IN GREAT CONDITION. Chippy paint but not flaking...looks to have some great age to it could be 18th or 19th century....take a look at pics. Stands 9 1/2" tall...base is ...3 1/2" across.....bottom half  is approx 2 1/2" high....top half  6 1/2".
