For auction the Mephisto 'Esclusive' chess-computer running the 32-bit versions of the Vancouver, the London, the Portorose and the Lyon programs that are the later 24-MHz versions written for the 68020 microprocessor. Here the programs are running on the enhanced 68030 microprocessor at the original speed of 24-MHz and are selectable via a slide-switch present on the module. Any stored game can ofcourse be resumed by any of the four programs. The green OLED display module contains an ...nvram for storage of games etc. and therefore does not require the use of a battery. The internal power-board within this Exclusive unit has been revised to supply up to 1-Amp of current for use with 32-bit modules. The modules can be used in the Modular or larger Munich boards and ofcourse with other 16/32 bit modules. Other modules can be used with the board. The original Mephisto case is in excellent condition and a manual in the English language is supplied plus a power-adaptor suitable for European or American power systems.
