Original Description:
Offered for sale is this awesome WW2 US steel combat helmet complete with it's chinstrap and it's matching original liner! The helmet has a Lt's stripe on the front of the steel pot and the liner has Lt's rank affixed to both the front and rear of the liner. These two markings on the liner, are actually pieces of medical tape applied! Helmet is a fixed bale and has it's original web chinstrap. Helmet shell has a few dents and scuff and scrapes but still retains it's ...original paint. Helmet appears to have NOT been messed with in anyway since the war! A beautiful example of true combat helmet and it's matching original liner! Don't miss out on this beautiful set!
