Offered for your consideration is a vintage obsolete Deputy US Marshal Badge. This badge is in very good, as pictured condition. The pin back is secure and functions just as it should. I do not know one way or another about its originality, but it certainly has a substantial weight and feel to it. The badge measures approximately 2.692” high and 2.197” wide at its widest point. Each of these badges are pa...rt of a grouping of vintage badges I recently acquired from an older gentleman who accumulated the collection over a period of decades. He stopped collecting many years ago and these were just sitting in a glass case until he turned loose of them to me. I have neither cleaned nor polished any of the badges and will leave that to the purchaser, should he or she so desire. Some I know to be originals, and some are likely to be high-quality reproductions. Where I am certain of originality, I will describe it accordingly. For the others, I do not profess to be an expert (or anywhere near it) so, unless I am certain with a piece, please draw your own conclusions about originality.
