Extremely clean toy and hard to upgrade from here! Fantastic 10" long battery operated Tinkling Trolley that was made by Masudaya (Modern Toys) of Japan in 1965. This toy has great coloring and fantastic action! It has a clean battery box and when you put batteries in and flip the switch on, the trolley moves about w...ith the rotating wheels underneath, stops and rings, and has a light-up headlight. All functions still work great! This is in near mint condition with just some light rub marks on the roof as shown. The broadway trolley is all tin with plastic cowcatchers, plastic top pole, and plastic headed driver operator. It has wonderfully lithographed images of finely dressed riders all wearing dress hats! It comes in it's original box that retains both top and bottom inserts! The box top has a slight bowing in of the lid and a crease at one side apron. This is the cleanest trolley I've ever seen and it would be a choice example to add to your collection.
