In excellent condition with no loss of finish to top surface, this is a lovely hand-painted tray showing a bouquet of flowers agains a metallic gold and black background. It's well balanced and strong and features a wonderful, pierced openwork gallery.
The artist has signed it on the front: "Merle Bliqui"
There are a few scratches on the underside (as shown), but NONE to the top surface.
There's a paper price sticker on underside from a now defunct, Richmond, Va, lar...ge, upscale, department store: Miller & Rhoads.
