For your consideration is an antique gone with the wind banquet oil lamp by Pittsburgh Lamp Brass & Glass Co (PLBG). This beautiful lamp is circa 1895-1905 is artist signed “ R. Walsh” on the ball shade and features an opaque white base color that fades to a nice pink at the top of the base and ball shade. The shade is very nicely decorated with with pink/red flowers on both sides of the ball shade and base. The lamp has been converted to electric with a screw on Eagle burner. This... lamp can easily be converted back to oil by replacing the burner.The lamp measures 20” in total height including the chimney and 18” from the top of the ball shade to the ornate 5 1/2” cast base. This lamp has a ball shade that measures 7 1/2” in height. The glass contains zero cracks or chips including the 4” fitter rim. There is very minimal paint loss on this lamp and is in cosmetically good condition.The base, collar, heat ring, footing as well as the brass connector do not contain any dents, dings or cracks.
