POSTWAR LIONEL 2341 JERSEY CENTRAL, FAIRBANKS MORSE, TRAIN MASTER DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE LOT DESCRIPTION:As the title says this lot consists of the somewhat hard to find POSTWAR LIONEL JERSEY CENTRAL FAIRBANKS MORSE, TRAIN MASTER DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE. This is the dull coat version. Made in 1956 this massive locomotive comes with dual motors, 6 wheel trucks, magna-traction, interior lights, a diesel horn. It is all original Postwar Lionel. DESCRIPTION O...F CONDITION: Loco is in great shape. The plastic has the typical screw hole cracks but they are very tiny and hardly noticeable (see pictures), no other cracks, breaks or chips. The colors, side stripes and decals are all bright and clear. Lettering and numbers still nice and sharp. The battery compartment and frame are fine , no battery damage there at all. Trucks and rollers in great shape. Again, this is just a great looking loco that IMHO I would rate as in c-7, excellent condition but take a good look at the pictures and you be the judge for the pictures are considered an important part of the description and say much more than my words ever can. WORKING CONDITION:I have, cleaned, lubed and tested the FM and it runs and reverses perfectly. E-unit cycles just fine.
