Massive Vintage Early 1950s American Flyer Train Set With Engine 300 Atlantic. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This massive lot of AC Gilbert early 1950s American flyer trains, tracks and accessories. Is in fairly great condition throughout. There is minor scratching on the cars and train and the transformers power cord is brittle. A couple of the couplings appear to be broken. On some of the pieces of track there is minor metal tarnish. It appears that a couple of ...the buildings had pieces break off and that they were super glued back on but you can't tell. In addition some of the buildings were super glued together so that they wouldn't come apart. There are 5 trees with this lot all have there bases, they can't be seen in the photo but I just found them and put them on after I took the picture. This set includes original instructions and most of the original boxes. Including all the train car boxes except for one. And the protective wrap for the locomotive. This set includes 10 train cars. Three of them are passenger cars the others are a caboose and freight haulers. The set includes the 300 Atlantic reading lines locomotive and tender. The track includes 32 straight pieces 7 small Straight pieces 4 curved small pieces and 31 large curved pieces. It also includes a 4-way intersection and remote control track switch. The set also contains the number 770 loading platform. The set also includes a orange hand car. The accessories include a box of number 25 smoke cartridges there are two unused in the box. A pressure type track trip. As well as the plasticville manufacturing co building, plasticville water tower, the plasticville junction and the plasticville 5 and 10 which is missing its windows but is fine otherwise. The plasticville 5 and 10 also includes a brown roof in addition to the red roof on it. There is also one white House and grass set. The last building is the unassembled plasticville Hall. The last accessories are track clamps and the no. 761 signal tower with 2 track trips. The transformer is a 120v. There is also three metal figurines and 1908 Mercedes GP matchbox car. All these items have been in storage for about 50 years. There are also some track pins. Due to eBay's 12 picture limit and the lot size I was not able to get fantastic close-ups on everything. So if you would like more pictures of something please contact me. In addition to this Gilbert stuff I'm selling a Lionel train set and other Gilbert accessories so check those out if you're interested. Thanks. Please refer to photos to verify condition.
