Chicago, Burlington & Quincy CB&Q 6316 2-10-4 M-4 Colorado Texas LMB Brass HOCustom Painted and Weathered. The openframe motor powered model LMB imported from KMT of Japan. The Baldwin Locomotive Eddystone Works ofPhiladelphia delivered 18 Whyte Class Texans to the Burlington Route during1927. These coal fired behemoths wereequipped with Baker Valve Gearing and rest on ten 64 inch drivers. The boilers 250 PSI of steam powered the pairo...f 31 inch by 32 inch cylinders. Theengine with tender tipped the scales at 898, 140 pounds. The class of engines worked well for decadeson the Burlington as well as the Colorado Southern subsidiary with the classbeing retired and scrapped in the 1950s. While the plating is intact the model is used. The engine runs well on the track andrequires ample radii to negotiate turns. The model comes with its original box and foam (replacement?).
