ORIENTAL LIMITED BRASS GENERAL ELECTRIC U25B LOW-HOOD DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE
We have a number of new and used steam and diesel locomotives for sale this week from old store stock donated to our effort to support a local railroad museum.
Here we are offering a Brass General Electric U25B Diesel imported by Oriental Limited and manufactured by Samhongsa (Korea). This is an undecorated, low-hood model. The motor runs just fine in both directions. ...However, one of the tower gears has split (see photo). We have removed one of the brass universals so that it will be safe for shipping (see photo). The model is otherwise in near mint condition. An experienced brass modeler should be able to fix the gear. Northwest Short Line likely has the right gears. This model is too nice to be left unfixed. It comes in its original box with good foam. Due to the gear issue we are offering this model at a very attractive starting price. We will pack this model for safe shipping.
