We offer for your consideration, a very nice 100% original circa 1890s to about 1920 cast iron boiler assembly with the additional air pressure dome & pipe.
We believe this is for an early IVES horse-drawn fire engine. We've talked to several people who know cast iron toys and that's what they think. Both pieces are in remarkable condition, especially when their age is considered. The boiler still has both of the U-shaped hose holders that are typically brok...en off.
