As most everyone knows, I love old, antique clocks. But, still have a lot to learn about them. So, not my area of expertise. This was very heavy (especially for the size) when I picked it up from the estate sale I recently acquired it at. I think it's a cast iron metal. I had it working for about 45 minutes and then it stopped. I'm not sure why. I know a lot of times with clocks like these, they have to be completely level. So, that might be what it is or maybe something else? I'm not ...sure either if the white color is the original color? It has the metal designs. The glass still looks to be in good condition over the face/dial. The face dial has yellowed, discolored, shows wear from use and age, I assume. The key that you will see in some of the photos is the key that came with it. The pendulum, as you will see in the pictures taken of the inside mechanism, it is not removable and is actually on a ? not sure what the name of it is. I also didn't want to wind it too tight. There are some places of wear on the outer surface material. Close-up pictures taken. On the top piece, front side, there are some indention type places. Please refer to photos. It measures approximately 11 1/4 inches across the bottom. It stands approximately 9 1/4 inches tall. Front to back, approximately 5 inches. The scale shows it weighing about 14 1/2 pounds.
