ANTIQUE STEIFF TEDDY BEAR BUTTON IN EAR VERY WELL LOVED LONG ARMS FEET HUMP
What a sad old bear !He is an antique Steiff and still has his button in his ear.Long arms with thin long curved paws, long thin feet and a hump back. Pronounced muzzle and apple shaped head. All his claw stitching is still present in brown thread.Fully jointedWould look great dressed up as a character in a bear collection, or a good restoration projectHeight approx 18 inches
Condition - This b...ear has been VERY well loved over the years. Fur missing to arms, head, tummy & back, you can see what his fur would have been like on his legs - quite long and curly mohair, eyes missing, there are small stitches where his paw pads have been repaired, some holes to his feet pads, hole to the fabric of his muzzle, nose stitching worn and growler inoperative. Photos are a fair representation of the condition
