Here is an old cardboard Pocket Lumber Scale by Anderson Window Units and Frames, it was given out by the F. W. Wint Co., Inc. of Catasauqua, PA, which is stamped on the front and back of the scale. I do not see any dates on this. From what research I have done, I found that F. W. Wint was in the lumber business, started in 1874 at the corner of Front & Spring Sts. in Catasauqua, PA, and added casket making in 1919. The business became incorporated in 1974, so we ...are guessing this pocket scale was made after this time, since it says F. W. Wint Co., Inc. on it. It measures 5 1/2 by 2 3/4 inches and has been well used in its day, it has worn corners and edges as well as soiled areas. The scale still slides in and out easily.
