Also has a small metal crown on top with strange marble-like stonesThis box is riddled with Hebrew lettering, ancient symbolism & strange hieroglyphs?( I have not translated their meanings ) This evil item was brought to to my attention at an estate sale. The family who sold their items, were lightening their load, to move back to the Holy Land.The Father of the household, Azriel, consulted with me after I told him that I was highly interested in this box. I told Azriel of my paranormal collection and asked him if I could just pay for it outright. Azriel laughed at me and told me that this box is not just some 'paranormal item' He told me that his Uncle was a highly respected Rabbi and that he passed this box down to him for safe keeping. So I asked, "Why get rid of it"..he told me that the box is evil and contained an ancient demon from the Hindus valley. He explained to me, " It has brought my family nothing but misfortune & has Haunted our house now for 13 years "He told me that the deom, Trapped inside, was some sort of 'MASTER' over lower level demons, and commanded legions of demons who once wreaked havoc, even before the time of the Christian Religion. A sort of demon 'prince' ?!He told me that his Uncle, Adoniram, trapped it in a salt mine, right outside of Bethlehem. He and his colleagues tracked it to the mine, after years of investigatiing possessions in the small town, nearby.He said that the demon inside, was of a physical form & that when they finally faced off with the demon, that it was a small lizard-like man-looking being. He claims that the little demon held a small crystal ball in his right hand and that he wielded a dagger in his left hand. He told me that the Rabbis had hell fighting and subduing the demon. It slashed at them with his dagger and even took one of the man's pointer fingers off. "He had a crown on his head, like he was royalty" said Azriel..and He says that the demon also ate the man's finger.Azriel explained to me that after they performed what is now considered a 'forbidden ritual' they mesmerized the demon and lulled him into a submissive state. More Rabbi's showed up with ritualistic items and stuffed the royal demon into this box. But, before they could finish sealing the box, it woke up inside and screamed threats to the men, from inside. It swore to take vengeance against their children and their children's children. Supposedly the demon shapeshifted shortly after, and the box became much lighter. The demon manifested it's self into something else. " Whatever the little devil changed into, you can hear it in the box, when you tilt it " Azriel held the box up next to his ear and shook ot, while he grinned. Something(s) rattled from inside, as he shook it side to side. Azriel was dead serious about the the gravity of the curse inside. He told me the Demon's crown fell off, when one of the Rabbi's whacked it with his sandle. The Demon's actual crown is on top of and sealed to the box!After giving me a price which made my head spin, i still purchased the box. One last question to Azriel before the deal was sealed - " If this demon has sworn against your bloodline, then why would you ever let it out of your sight " he laughed again and just plainly said, without hesitation - "My God will protect us" As I left, with the box in both hands, I scooted carefully out of the crowd. Everyone there stared at me like I was stupid, or as If they knew I was already doomed.I got the box home, finally..and, not long after resting it upon my shelf, I got cold sweats and a very painful stomach ache. That very night, as I layed wide awake in my bed, I heard something inside of the box..sounded like a small hard object being knocked around. Today is the second day that I've had it. My EMF reader has detected high amounts of electro magnetic frequency. On all three tests, I have received different readings and have detected a cold temperature in the air around the box. I have not heard any voices yet but I did see a bright light above the box for 2 seconds. Whatever is inside of this thing has moved on it's own. I sat a whole unopened box of gobstoppers down, next to the box. When i returned to get my gobstoppers..the whole box of candy had vanished! I feel like it wants my attention, or that it may be trying to raise my curiosity enough to where I will open the box and set it free. There is no telling what this thing may do once it is out! I have tested it enough to confirm that i really do not want this box as part of my collection. This isn't like other paranormal items.
