Original Description:
A fine type 3 cut-out, date plugs 20.8.61, cancelled by a Dover duplex. This cover is addressed to Dr. Viner - Charles William Viner, the eminent London philatelist and founder member of The Philatelic Society(RPSL). He edited The Stamp Collector’s Magazine 1863-6 and The Philatelist 1866-76. Even at this early stage philatelists seemed to be attracted to the use of these philatelic oddities.
