Vintage WW1 era Wood Ammo Box for U.S. M1909 Benet-Mercie LMG US Army Green. It has been repainted a blue/ grey color but you can see the original green in places. Leather strap is broken/ partially missing, there is a split in the center of the bottom. There are two screws missing from the bottom. Measures 18 X 8 X 4 1/2”. It does have wear but it is in good solid condition. Estate find, comes as seen in photos.
