Up for bid is a Aviator’s Flight Log bookbelonging to a Mark Smith of the US Navy . The log begins in July 1942 in NASCorpus Christi where he is a in a PBY Catalina. There are some neat notes in the book, like a Remember Pearl Harbor onDec 7 1943, some sub patrols, searches, etc and he also notes where severalmembers were killed or later died that he flew with. In the back of the book, he has a big list ofhis travels during the war….it seems he was overseas a ...lot for the war and postwar but not much of it was either spent flying or he didn’t log it in thisbook. Not sure. Anyways, a nice logbook overall, about 50pages of logs filled out in total. Check thepictures for overall condition. Please email with any questionsbefore bidding.
